Don't you know doggies you pick up at the pound that are from abused and neglectful homes are often the most loving and devoted to their saviors?

And with no body hair, he's less likely to cause an allergic reaction! Win win!

Wow.
This is very twisted.
It's one of those stories that is so well written, but that I almost dread to read.
Some of these stories end up changing Xander entirely from who he originally was. I get that a pet has to change behavior/dress/look, but I hate it when writers even change Xander's mind and thoughts. So far, you're doing an excellent job showing the mental behavior of Xander, and I'm curious to what effect (if any) Xander will have on Spike.
Either way, I'm excited/nervous for this, can't wait for more, and I plan to keep reading it.

Well, you'll have to keep reading to find out! And thanks so much for saying I've been staying true to Xander, I'm TRYING to write it more realistically then I've seen others do similar themes, but I try to do that with most of my work unless it's unavoidable or requested otherwise.

Thanks for sayin' you plan on keeping on reading, because this is gonna be a fun fun ride.
