Wow ... I'm officially a convert. At first, I have to admit, I didn't like this story. Some of the heavy dom/sub stuff bothered me. Not because it was dom/sub, but because I like Xander so much, and him getting hurt on a regular basis, being so confused and unhappy, made me want to stop reading. But I struggled on, rather than abandon the fic, and I'm so glad I did. The developing relationship, Spike's genuine affection and concern for Xan, and the ending ... all made up for the shaky beginning. Thanks for such a good story.
