I have no idea of why there's no S) has been getting some major buzz, from friends both here and on Facebook,  which has brought this show to my attention. It's full of gratuitous fanservice, which in many instances annoyed shit out me. Once you get pass that though

I really enjoyed the anime, too. I could have done without all the fanboy panty fan service, but.... I think they did really well with keeping the results of the zombie apocalypse and how people would/could react to it. They didn't pull punches and I appreciated that.

I know, right? I was very impressed with the overall emotional roller coaster they're constantly on! IN the first episode Rei pissed off to no end but that's how some ppl were coping with the quintessential end of the world.

Unfortunately folks died because ppl were stupid or got in the way or simply weren't able to cope! Things like that scares me, because human behavior truly is unpredictable. People for various reasons do things for self preservation that can easily allow them to become cruel, greedy, gluttonous, cowardice and evil. And once a person tows that line it's hard to get them back from beyond that point.

Sorry to get so deep but that's how I see apocalypse scenarios of every kind. It just launches the human mind into hell and everyones scrapping to escape the mouth of madness. But there are also good and brave moments that happen, as well! I loved how despite all the messed up shit there were funny, cute and sweet reasons to smile and laugh. I really can't wait to see more of this!

If the zombie apocalypse were to occur, most of humanity would die through it's own stupidity/greed/fear. Sad to say, but it would.

I don't know if you've seen it/been watching it, but The Walking Dead is an excellent show currently playing on AMC. It's based off comics/graphic novels of the same name. Great characters and development and it does show humanity at some of its worst as well as best moments. I highly recommend it.

Oh yeah, love The Walking Dead but due to no cable/dish I don't get to see it that often. I miss a lotta shows that way. But yeah, some seriously scary shit! I have a thing about being chased so, zombie stop trips me out trip me out!
