"Grindhouse," the Rodriguez/Tarantino double feature, double brilliance, is fantastically geeky, kitschy, sexy, gory, and oh my god, at one point in "Planet Terror", the Rodriguez feature, when Rose McGowan was gushing pus and blood!, Freddy Rodrigruez was sexily oozing blood!, Marley Shelton was gushing blood!, Sayeed (Naveen Andrews) from Lost! Gosh I love Tarantino. Though when I was gushing praise of Death Proof to my dad he was silently gritting his teeth because he hates him. By the way is the beginning of your post: is fantastically geeky, kitschy, sexy, gory, and oh my god, in preparation for the review you need to write your Theology professor in order to also get fantastic marks? God, what a conflict of interest- if anybody tells the Professor "omgwtf this sux!!1" they are immediately shot down with a failing mark on their report card. sighz.

How can your dad hate such a genius?? But I do think that it took way too long in the beginning to get into the plot, because Tarantino is apparently too in love with his dialogue to make it short and too the point, but it does contribute to character development, which was what I thought they did so well in those two movies. Their quirks are so apparent and strange and endearing.

We put our ID# on the review so that she will be biased in her grading, but really, you don't need to know who wrote what in order to fail the person's paper for giving her a scathing review.

Tarantino is so chatty in his interviews. I once read a description of him as a fourteen-year-old in a forty-year-old's body, which is sort of apt.

Tarantino looks so sleazy always. And in the movie he acts like a womanizer/rapist. Maybe he is trying to warn all the girls out there that he will take advantage of anyone with a vagina, and if you approach him, he will assume that you already know that. What a clever man.

your teacher makes you write a review for his book? what an asshole. you should write about how self-absorbed she is instead.

That picture's from "Planet Terror," which is Rodriguez' film.

The book is entitled, "Women Shaping Theology," and it's basically an autobiography and an account of women in the Catholic Institution through one woman's perspective (her perspective). She has a disclaimer in the intro, stating that it is in no way an authoritative source, which makes it more humble than it otherwise would've been. So, because of that, I wouldn't mind reviewing it.

I am very interested in seeing this movie(s), but then I see clips of someone popping boils on someone else's tongue while blood and pus squirt out. CONFLICT

I just saw it tonight and enjoyed it. Not immensely, but it didn't make me want my money back, unlike in Napoleon Dynamite. Tarantino has a big ego though. The first part was way way better, imho.
