after i read the bit about Ariana I also wondered if she was raped. it's definitely possible. it's like the thing Aberforth got in trouble for... for doing something to a goat. JKR not stating exactly what it was kinda makes everyone think he had some weird sexual fetish for goats or something, lolz.

She was definitely raped. If she was only beaten, while there would be quite a bit of physical pain, it could still be easily fixed in the wizarding world. Only some gangbang action would afford her enough emotional suffering to cause her to go insane.

My least favorite part was when waste of space Hagrid didn't die in the beginning, followed closely by the bad fanfic-y epilogue.

I thought Hagrid was going to die, when he crashed the motorcycle, and then I immediately thought, "but that would give boog too much satisfaction," and was pleased when he didn't.

Yeah, if everyone got that "uh, was she raped?" feeling when they read it, then word she was raped. Also, no one goes mad because they get beat up a lot. Then we wouldn't have nerds.

My vote is that Ariana was gang raped. At least that's what I immediately thought when I read that. I don't think anything else would cause that extreme of a reaction from her. Plus then her father went after them and went to Azkaban for torturing them in revenge.

All the fantasy books just love camping plots.
