The Fate of the Brilliant Idiot

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror -- "Draco don't die!" they screamed.

Okay, I do love these high angst cliff-hangers. So before we continue with our story, does anyone care to guess the fate of our "Billiant Idiot" or why he did what he did?

I am going to guess that Draco lives, because if he died, why would you write a sequel, and you didn't warn for character death.

lol...

Hmm... Draco will live, but it's not going to be pretty, I'm guessing. And Harry's going to be pissed! ...Once he gets over being terrified for Draco's life. Why did he do it? Not sure... I’m guessing it's mostly his way of having control. Especially after the rape he probably feels that he has to have his life a certain way and HE has to be the one to make it happen. Letting the Healer take the babies by cesarean would be handing over control to her and to Fate and he just can’t have that. He kept saying that he knew he could do it. Always “him” doing it. Never with any help. But that’s just my guess.

As someone above said - a way of taking control of his life and his body... I'm thinking of how he hated those internal examinations (not that I blame him!)
I think he'll live (if he survives Harry's scolding/emotions) - but maybe I'm just thinking that because I love happy endings. Please...

As Pepper202 said, I read that a sequel was already in process, so I know Draco won't die, but I also remember was slashpervert wrote not too long ago about Draco biggest miscalculation and I think that this is the one. Harry will forgive him, because it's Harry and he loves him too much, but with a lot of angst. But I don't think Draco is going to get out of this really healthy... "survival" I read somewhere... I think Draco will discover that without Harry he is the one that couldn't survive and that he will have to learn to live with any "anomaly" and accepting that Harry loves him no matter what...

Perv loves to torture and hurt Draco - it's her "thing". Also, there's never any drastic situation that doesn't have lasting effects/repercussions, so I'm willing to bet that he'll have to deal with long-term problems as a result of what he's done. Silly boy - doesn't he know that men don't have girl-bits for a reason?
