Well of course the major bit of news that came and went is centered around the fact that I just moved into this lovely abode at the end of april. The move was very, very smooth. The weather was perfect, there were no hitches/damages made, my family was a huge help and my mom even commented on how thankful she was that I'd gotten so much work done ( Read more... )

Mmf. That internet situation was so ridiculous. Very glad it's over with now, and things are mostly working! Sorry that May was so crazy-expensive for you, and hopefully things will be much smoother from here on. Yay for pretty-house~

Yeah, it wasn't particularly easy to sum up that month and a half ordeal like that >_> Though car tires will be an issue soon, most remaining house issues should be more like, time issues, than money ones. So yay, *flop*!

Yeah, looks like the good overcame the bad at least...

Still is awesome to own a house, without at least... TOO much trouble. There was only one toilet with the crack in it at least too.

I still can't believe you own a house on your own though, haha!

If there's a light at the tunnel, it's that these are almost all one-time expenses, so yeah, I weathered the storm. I have plenty of savings and didn't have to tap into them, so that was a success. Now I just need to work on getting a roommate to accumulate more of that back X)

hah, aww =D Thanks man! I do feel that it's a pretty huge accomplishment, and am rightfully proud of it.
