Nooot much going on lately. I gave blood yesterday and it was the first time I'd gotten nauseous at the end. I think it was because they normally take it with me laying down, and this time I did it at a fire station where they set up some odd chairs that had me tilting my arm down at an uncomfortable angle. 'No, NO that is NOT just a 'cat doll', that is a one of a kind Leo plushie, from the formerly very funny webcomic VGCats. I felt it was my duty to allow him the sort of cash that gets him steak dinners before his time of doing nothing~'

Awww, no Hugo-love. :(

Yeah, his story did start out kind of lame though. The characters he starts out travelling with are kinda, uh, dumb. And, uh, the being hot thing might have affected my appreciation of him...

I remember the story starting out kinda slowish and definitely picking up enough to hold my interest later. And it probably helped that there were more hot guys...

Hugo was just a bad choice to start with. I dislike low defense high evade characters, and both he and Lulu fit that bill. On top of that, until the very end of the Chapter where Sgt. Joe actually laid down some good thoughts, all playable characters had no real personality... and plus, there were some annoying stereotypical RPG conventions in both the storyline and characters. The only thing I liked was having Fubar, who was terribly named.

However, getting into the thick of Geddoe's first chapter has already been better. More variety in the characters, much more personality fleshed out, and much less generic in the storyline.. a lot more ambiguity.

heh X) Ironically, I tend to avoid using females in RPGs, regardless of their attractiveness. The beefy tank/berserker melees are my favorite, and of cousre are usually the dudes. Everyone was saying that Chris is quite the tank though, so that shall be interestin'!
