Yeah, it's me! Same me, but -faster-.

Yeah.. months since I updated! Honestly, my reason for not updating is pretty simple: work. The amount of work and importance put on me in my department has grown considerably in the past months.. I used to write entries at work, or have way less work at work. Now, free time to write usually revolves around communicating with a Ren, or making ( Read more... )

Sweet, a peasantry~ Wow, a whole lot has happened in the past while indeed. I'm really glad I could provide you with fun RPGs to play! They were only collecting dust here, and it's awesome that you ended up mostly enjoying them all. Many thanx0rz to you too for letting me try out your games. :D

Also, I can help you paint. My fee: One plane ticket, and a lifetime of love. Yeah, hard bargain, but I'm a -really- good painter*. (* This may be a lie made in an attempt to live with you earlier than planned.) And if you act now, I'll throw in the bonus of being your tackling teammate in Mario Kart and Strikers forEVER. Yeah, I know!

Awesome update, very much enjoyed the read~ Thanks for everything this year, and I love ya more than I can say, Pes. Here's to an even more kickass 2008. <3

Bwaha. I meant for that to be more goofy than cute, but yay! It must be bizarre to overhear us actually talking, because we switch from one strange accent to wacky voice to mock-serious tone saying would-be-awful things about the other at lightning speed. I get funny looks from my co-workers, and his family members apparently get confused at times. ("How could you say that about us?!") Ahh, so fun. Yay future where I can continue to be my weird self.

As for the music, maybe it's best to ease into it. He showed me some really pretty borderline-metal to start and that got me going. There's some very neat orchestral stuff you may enjoy as well~

Hey, as long as you guys are having fun who cares? XD

Symphonic Metal? I actually listen to some of that and I enjoy it, unless there's another kind of orchestral metal. I dunno, there seems to be so many different subgenres!

Well I got SNES later in the cycle, so I missed a few of the landmark games... LttP among them. CC was probably not a letdown for me because it's been so very long since I beat CT.. I don't remember a ton about the story. CC was different, even trippy at times, so at least they did something different.

Indeed, her trip back was insane.. I was kind of stressed the whole day, and phenomenally frustrated when Southwest didn't put her on the direct-to-Seattle flight, and Air canada's website crashed on me no less than 5 times while trying to change her itinerary.

What Ren said about the music is true though.. she's gotten into some -really- heavy stuff now, and it needs a lot of easing into X) Thanks for the reply!

Well, you're catching up now... and you can likely appreciate a good game a lot more now than as a kid. And yeah, CC got a little trippy and hard to follow at times. I guess part of my disappointment with it is the fact that the tone and presentation changed a lot from CT. Since you'd spaced the games out a lot, you could probably see the story for its own merits a lot better.

Gogo airlines... that's part of the reason I'll pay extra for nonstop flights whenever I possibly can. Much less chance of confusion, and I dunno as I would have been able to deal with the mess nearly as well as you did.

And hmm, anything you can suggest for some nice starter music?
