Pet Rats for Adoption in Gainesville!

Nov 07, 2005 16:49

Hello all. I have 4 rats available for immediate adoption - two boys, and two girls.

First of all. I can no longer care for 7 rats. I am keeping three - the three that mean the most to me: my sweetest girl, one of the babies I helped raise, and my dwarf. I love these girls more than any. Not to say I don't love the two boys and two girls either, but those were more of a "whim" purchase, and I have not grown to them as I have the others.

Prices? I am a struggling college student, and would like some money from these ratlings.

Boys + cage and Girls + cage (4 rats, 2 cages) = $25
Boys + cage (2 rats, one cage) = $10 (since they will need a new cage soon, as they are growing.)
Girls + cage (2 rats, one cage) = $15

However, I am willing to talk to you. If you want them, but can't afford that much, e-mail me. Mostly, I want these ratlings to go to a loving home, someone who will love them and care for them like I no longer can.

Pictures and info.

These are the boys, Bert and Al (short for Cuthbert and Alain). They are from the same litter, and grew up together. Al is a beige berkshire boy. Very sweet. Al is a fawn broken hooded boy. Sweet, but also a bit fiesty. Neither of them have gotten as much attention as they deserve, but with a couple days of lots of love, they will be fine. When I do spend time with them, they like to crawl under my shirt and fall asleep. Lazy boys. :P These guys are roughly 5-6 months old.

The first girl, I don't have a picture of her, but this is a picture of her sister (my mom has her sister.)
My girl's name is Grace, and she is a dumbo blue agouti. Fat fat girl. But healthy. Very sweet. (Don't get confused by the year on the picture. I got Grace earlier in 2005, and she was only a month or so old at the time.)She is roughly 8-9 months old.

And, lastly, I don't have a picture of. She is a champagne self, regular eared girl. Her name is Sugi. She needs the most work. She has been skittish since the day I got her, and I could never get her to calm down. She needs someone experienced, and who has the time to take care of her properly. She is roughly 10 months old.

That being said, I am willing to let the two girls go individually (though I would prefer together.) They have never lived together, but get along famously whenever I have them out together.

Like I said. E-mail me. Any questions, concerns, whatever, just e-mail me.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

Jonathan in Gainesville.
