Someone other than me read my journal! Rich's article is exactly on point. Have you noticed how dulled our outrage is to the London bombings? It's because Bush's war in Iraq has legitimized terrorism.
It has indeed. In the wake of 9-11, he did more for bolstering Al-Quaeda's ranks than anything else ever could. And with this new wave of Pan-Global terrorism, it's going to get worse. Attacks may well become commonplace and we'll grow *used* to them. Unreal. Bring back the days of duck-and-cover, at least I could wrap my head around the idea of being vaporized under the safety of my desk, lol...
