Background: for the past four or so years, a group of simmers from the private group that I belong to have been meeting near Flint, Michigan for the Renaissance Festival. Wow, this is really awesome! I've never met anyone from the simming community and most of my friends don't even know that I play the sims (although I recently found out a couple did secretly and laughed :D) You all look like you have a great time meeting up, I'm jealous!

We've all belonged to this group for years now, but just recently started meeting in person. It's just luck that so many of us live close enough to do this.

It's fun getting to see the real people behind your Sims! I'm jealous that a bunch of you live close enough to meet in person. I've only been able to meet two friends I met online in person, everyone else I know just lives too far away.

We are lucky! Ruby and I became such good friends that we chat online every week day & sometimes call each other. When I can afford to travel, I plan to go visit her in Texas. I just wish that we could all meet in person sometime. That would be so awesome.

That is freaking awesome!! How great that you have a group of ladies that all play the sims, and live close enough to get together from time to time. Not to mention Renaissance fans!
