You worked there? How fun! What did you do? I so wish I had thought of asking you where to go while we were there. It completely slipped my mind. When I think of you, I always think Florida for some reason.

I have to tell ya, the most moving part of the Graceland tour was in the paddle ball court room--they said that is where he spent the morning of the day he died--sitting around the piano and singing songs with friends.

I ran their print-shop and document center for a year and a half, on behalf of Xerox. If you are facing G'land, there's a brick building to the left, that's the Memphis branch offices of Elvis Presley Enterprises, and that's where I was. Walked up to the grave site almost every morning, seen areas inside the mansion that the public never sees, ate more fried PB and banana sammiches than I ever should have.

I was born and raised in FL, that's probably why you think that.

Did you get to see upstairs in the main house? I so wanted to try to slip through. I convinced myself that it was just a storage area, but is it?

The grave sight is an amazingly peaceful place, and very tastefully done. I can't blame ya.
