Mommy says I shed 24/7, whatever that means, but especially a lot in the spring. The reason I'm sure she's delighted to find my lovely fur everywhere in the house is because I inspired a poem she wrote called "Ode to a Keyboard"...

years ago my Mom had an lj buddy whose daughter was a teache/librian/writer. One year at Christmas time the daughter asked for pet hair so she could spin yarn from it. I wasn't here then, but Leona (two kitties ago) contributed some fur to that. My mom says when she vacuums there is enough hair to make another kitty, but she DID notice the other day that when she cleaned out the cleaner basket a good share of that hair was silver. I don't have any silver hair.

Mommy definitely vacuums up enough of my fur to start crocheting a new doggy, but thankfully she only wants me. :) --Pippin

Thank you! You would think, but all she does is fuss at us and brush us even more, not that I mind, but my little sister isn't as keen.

I do that too, Sooki! When I drink my water too fast, I spit up a little. Sometimes mommy sees me do it, and sometimes she finds my little puddle later in the day.
