Maneki here. Mommy watched a video where the groomer said that her "client" was a cat, but he barks and bites instead of hiss and scratch.

Is that what mommy meant by "pick a lane"? Be a cat or be a dog? Tovarish and Tomodachi are as confused as I am on this!
