Tovarish here. Are you getting something special for Christmas or Hanukkah? Mommy gets us eight presents each season, plus "we" give presents to those who are in the local shelters for whatever reason. Tomodachi and Maneki know what it's like to be in one, so "we" make sure to get something/s special to lift the cats/kittens/dogs/puppies' spirits

Why not have your mommy get an extra toy to give to a deserving shelter resident along with the present for you? - Maneki, a former

shelter resident (survived a "backyard breeder"/"hoarder", along with her bonded pairing, Tomodachi)
