This weekend was noisy due to the metal birds and the big bikes. Mom told us that both the "jets" and the "harleydavidsons" are now "every year" along with the "ethnic festival fireworks" (GermanFest.) Mom closed the kitty televisions, which cut down some of the noise, but not enough!

Cat Rant!
Maneki here! The noisy birds are back! We know because Tovarish and Tomodachi are using cat cuss words while our televisions are shaking as one or more fly by our territory. The birds are setting off what mommy calls "car alarms", too! They hurt my ears! And mommy says that it's going to last "all weekend"! I'm going to cuddle with mommy tonight ( Read more... ) -

I'm grateful that mom filled our bowls before leaving because we were awakened by a stranger making strange noises late into the darkness (I accidentally left my keys at a clinic I visited last Thursday, and the clinic closed for anything other than emergency ob/gyn cases; making matters worse was that the RNC was in Milwaukee at ( Read more... ) -
Mom's mad!
It seems that a couple of neighbours complained that we didn't get our shots, but they didn't. It seems that their mommies put "false information" whatever that means. Mom ended up a little late for an eye appointment, and she had big eyes when she got home (I had my eyes dilated for the exam, and the dilation drops last five times as long as they' ( Read more... ) -

Happy Pet Day!
I, Tovarish, along with Tomodachi and Maneki, wish all pets a happy pet day today! Our human companion/servant told us that they'll treat us to tinned food as a celebratory treat (we'll clean the tins to the very bottom!)

We finally woke up from our nap after being chased by one of the annoying hoomans. Tomodachi had to slash at her to give both Tovarish and me more space, and he hates to do more than required! I had a very tough morning
Mom did not indicate she was going to whisk me into my carrier this morning. she's usually not quite so sneaky, but she pulled the shower curtain so I couldn't see she'd gotten the carrier down.
