Dad: "Quinn, come get your OJ"
Quinn: "What's OJ?"
Dad: "Orange juice."
Quinn: "Is it Spanish?"

When I was in second grade I thought cursive was what Spanish was written in. When I claimed "I can write in cursive!" I had thought it meant I had mastered another language.
