Hello lovely peteandpete members!

The previous maintainer of this community, ashleybot, has been moving away from Livejournal for a while. I asked her if she might like to pass custody of peteandpete on to me, and she said yes. So hello, I'm mizufae and I'm your new community maintainer/admin/mod person.

My brother and I do. We are huge Halloweenies ourselves, and we get a kick out of watching "Halloweenie" prior to trick-or-treating, which we still do even though we're, uh, kind of old. I'm also a huge fan of your icons. :-)

Sadly, iCarly is the spiritual successor to Clarissa Explains it All. Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide was the spiritual successor to Pete & Pete, but that show is over. *weeps*

HOLY CRAP NED'S DECLASSIFIED.
That really was my favorite of the new wave of Nick shows, but I think they ended it very gracefully and didn't draw it out awkwardly the way they have with some shows (Spongebob, I'm looking at you)..
iCarly is doing a good job of filling that gap, though. Hopefully Nick'll still have some creative minds around with some good ideas once the gang grows up and moves on to bigger and better things.
