As futile as it may seem, I have to renew the tags on my Porsche (they expired in January, oops) and get a title for the BMW (which involves paying sales tax). So $1800 later, I'm all registered in TN only to be leaving in a month. Oh well... at least there wasn't a line at the county clerk's office (I waited 90 minutes last time).

I'm bringing almost everything. I'm leaving the fridge, washer & dryer, the extra bed/desk, perhaps the kitchen table too. I hope to pack the rest into a 2-bedroom apartment :-)
