yeah, i've got a hepa filter fan thingy in the initial cat room, and my vacuum cleaner has a built-in hepa filter and other anti-allergen stuff.

Those dyson vacuums work very well for pet hair, my parents got one and when they first used it, it picked up hair from Chelsea six months after we had to put her down.
