All US "combat" troops have now left Iraq.
It has been 7 years, 3 months and 16 days
since George W. Bush declared
"Mission Accomplished" in Iraq.
That was a lie -- just like every reason Bush gave for the war itself.

Amen. Glad we're out of there, but sad we were there in the first place. Now let's get the rest of our men home.

I'm glad that the last combat unit is being withdrawn, but there are still going to be 50,000 US troops in Iraq and they'll be there for a while yet.

You are so right, though, about the shameful lies promulgated by the Bush Administration to "justify" invading Iraq, and about the horrendous cost, in lives and in dollars.
