I'm dealing with the same question. I feel like I've outgrown LJ, even though I still love it dearly. It's a sad quandary.

Well when everyone else leaves the party, it's kind of hard to stick around. I'll admit that some things are better handled by other platforms, but for actual writing this is great. What I really SHOULD do, is merge LJ & DW and make my own site with all of my social media embedded in it. Unfortunately I have neither the time nor talent for that.
