What a boring day this has turned out to be. Home alone all day and all I managed to get done is cleaning up the house and then getting locked out of it. What a pleasant thank you. Last time I ever clean that ungrateful bastard. I wont let myself get too discouraged though, for each of these instances are top notch examples of the dreaded "laws ( Read more... )

Never have I ever enjoyed myself on the Lord's day and never shall I enjoy myself as long as the law is established.

i completely agree. my sunday has been horribly boring, and it always always is. even when we have off the next day.

Sundays wouldn't be nearly as bad if you could plan events and such during them. However, silly people such as myself have an annoying habit of going to church during these days and thus they usually end up a day of catching up on this or making sure that doesnt get out of hand.

Pete, I wish that I can be half the host that you are.

Well, abilities as a host are not easily measured through standard terms. I would hope to be a good host because it runs in the family, but who is to say that you could not equal, if not surpase me as a host?

The comment was mostly aimed at you. You were the only one who cleaned up after herself and for that I am forever thankful.

As a girl, your place is out in the world. How else are people like me and Dan going to make it in this harsh world without a wise and sensible woman to help us out every once and a while.

i face the same hang-out dilemmas as you. mainly do to availabilty issues and a lack of things to do. maybe i'll stop by early on what's now monday and pick up the goodies left by mayor mcsheen. they (as well as any mess made) were forgotten in the wake of a great party and my hunger. but work will do a good job of karate chopping the day in half. 4-8 so i'm hoping i can do something before, after or all of the above.

i played the drum game at the mall today. the highlight of sunday

Sorry for ditching you in all accounts yesterday. I was ready and willing to hang out with you anytime after eight, but the cards simply didn't allow such a fest of nonstop action. Also, I had to make a very important phone call which ended up consuming all of my evening. I'll make it up to you today or in the near future and thats a promise I'm willing to keep!

*shrug* Odd. I actually did something and had fun on Sunday.

I'm glad that cleaning up was okay. Leaving you with a huge mess was my main concern... I tried cleaning up as the mess built up througout the course of the party but I can tell that that didn't really help much. Ah well. I'm useless unless I sleep over. lol

My dear Sasha, the generalization written above was exacly what is was meant to be... a generalization. Sundays arn't all bad, just somewhat worse than others. And as for the cleaning part, I noticed your efforts and am really grateful for them. It was a pleasure having you over and I hope to do it again sometime (although hopefully at someone's house other than mine).
