Attention friends of the Live Journal variety, from now till August 19 I will be taking a family vacation to a place called Lake Placid.  My main concern about going to this location is not only that the name of the lake rhymes with the word "flaccid," but also I fear a social falling out from some of my buddies.  Already I am missing two
