Due South

I exercise to Due South.

This was not intentional but simply the way it worked out.

Meaningless rambling about my life )

So what you're saying is that you occasionally choose the news over Sentinel? Those are the days you aren't feeling well aren't they? *grin*

Only when I'm feeling incredibly virtuous, or someone's moved the discs and I can't be bothered to go searching.

At the moment I'm eating cheese and drinking wine to The Bourne Identity. I'm not sure if that is in any way significant.

Currently I'm up to my eye balls in fires to put out at work. That's significant in that I'm currently jealous of your cheese and your movie. Trade ya?

Jess, I've recently fell under the due South spell. And - NO - it has not supplanted my love for TS, but it's the closest anything has ever come or is ever likely to. The music is amazing so of course I had to have the soundtracks.

So now I commute to Henry Martin and Akua Tuta and ... so good!

You'll have to point me to that vid, honey.

I can't find it online at the moment, but I've got it at home. I'll upload it somewhere just for you and let you see it. It's one of those "Dang, I wish I had done that" things. :)

Okay here it is. This isn't mine so I'm not going to leave it up very long but it's a must see for Due South fans.

This one is mine. Don't know if you have seen it or not. I keep threatening to redo it with better quality clips. It's got a permanent home on youtube under my account there.

Enjoy!

I exercised as I watched the DS ep North, back a few years ago. I walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes. I managed to lose some weight, and then started step aerobics and lost even more. I've managed to regain it all. I should whip out North and start all over again. except hubby has changed my exercise room into his framing room. too much effort to uncover the treadmill everyday. so I blame my overweight-ness on him.

I should send you my MP3 player. I've got a new one, and the old one holds enough songs to fly from DFW to Ontario CA. that should hold you as you run around the block.

I'm half way tempted to take you up on your offer, but I think I'm going to keep what I have for the moment and use getting an MP3 player as motivation for keeping it up.

Why don't we do this. If you start using yours we can loose weight together! *beams*

I do one mile a day on the dreadmill and I'd like to get something to listen to music on. I have nothing. Maybe my phone would hold songs, I'm just not sure how to do it. I'll ask hubster. Glad to hear you're back into the exercising phase. It must be going around. I feel better since I've been doing this for nine days and I'm losing some fat. I've only lost two pounds, but I can tell with my clothes how things are fitting differently. My goal is to work up to 2 miles a day by December. I hope I can do it. You keep going, girl. :)

I liked your Due South story. I've never heard the songs, so now I have to go find them and listen. :) I probably know them and just forgot what they are. This is so me. :)

Hugs, Patt

Hey if you want I can upload the songs for you to listen to.

Actually I probably have them up already here:

I created this directory for my sister so I could give her songs. :)

Good for you on the exercise! That's wonderful! My goal is to work up to actually running the whole 30 minutes instead of running about half and walking the other half. Once I've done that for 2 weeks in a row I've got a beginners guide to marathon running schedule I think I'm going to try. That is if I don't drop dead first. *grins*

Have you listened to Confessions from a Dancefloor by Madonna? It's my all time favorite CD to listen to. YOu have to check it out. :) Alot of good running or walking music is on it.

I haven't but it looks awesome. Guess I'm making a run to Best Buy soon for an MP3 player and a new CD. :)
