Downstairs are noisy this evening. I might have to get my angle grinder out and start cutting up bits of metal.

The gardeners appeared today, and appeared to do some actual gardening. I've planted out a rhodedendron, and dug up some of the fuchsia that succumed to the cold winter. The others, I have hopes for.

As for the garden, nothing like starting to do a job someone else should be to get them suddenly in the way! (It's how a friend of mine motivates her husband at my recommendation)

Ironically, no. It was small-p politics; my previous service area was not supposed to be "technical", and my freestyling powershell was seen as rubbing the rhubarb of the then outsourced IT service.
