I'm off work this week, which is nice. Monday was the funeral of QE2. I have to confess to feeling a bit sorry for her - not only had she croaked, but her body got moved from pillar to post before it actually got buried.

I have no idea what kind of monarch Charles will be. As heir-apparent and prince-in-waiting, he's been a rum sort. Far-sighted

I guess even if he isn't a very good King, we don't really have to put up with him for a terribly long time. If he gets 10-20 years, I suspect he'll have done well.
