Eastern Promises today, even.

In a few hours I will be going with my friend Dustin to see David Cronenberg's "Eastern Promises", which I am quite excited about. Cronenberg, as I have mentioned before, is, along with David Lynch, my favorite director. Hmmm, I think Crewes is the exception to the rule. Being a lefty, I feel for the poor, of course, and grew up a bit poor myself, but living in Georgia, I saw that the people living in the Atlanta Metro were complete idiots....I don't even know what they are like in the more rural areas of the state, heh.

Interesting. I ran into more racism in Georgia than I do here (and I run into it a lot here). Joyce's father liked to say "nigger" quite often. I never had to live with anyone like that before, ugh.

Anyhoo, thanks for the heads up about the book. Now that I've read his first novel, I'm wanting to get my hand son everything he's ever written.
