Ugh. What's up with me and crazy dreams? Last night, get this....I'm driving around in a Lamborghini. It was apparently a gift. I wouldn't drive one even if it was a gift....my penis is not small enough. Orange Cobras and black Lamborghinis....what is wrong with me ( Read more... )

I'm still having trouble with my right leg/knee, so it's mostly just an idle thought. I do need to get to the mountains before it gets cold, however.

The beginning of the post made me giggle...thank you Faze, I needed it.

By the way, I saw Chavez on CNN yesterday and thought of you.

I hope all is well, it sounds like you are in a great place right now.

It was a black Lamborghini too. That just screams mini-penis. The funny part was that I noticed it had an automatic transmission, which I don't think they come with. I learned on a manual, but I always sucked at it. even in my dreams I won't touch a manual, haha!

I'd hate to know why Chavez was on CNN...I'm assuming because He and the President of Iran are working out new trade/development deals with one another, and even though the USA's biggest trading parter in China, CNN wants you to think it's unheard of to do business with a less than reputable nation. Am I close?

I hope all is well with you too, by the way. I always enjoyed speaking to you back in the old days at Drips'. I am in a good place now. I didn't realize how horrible my life was living with Joyce and her family in Georgia. I learned many things from that experience, not least of which was that I never ever want to end up like those three.

Very close...though there was a very interesting double sided undertone to the piece because they were focusing on last year when Chavez called Bush "The Devil"- One almost couldn't tell whether they were undermining Chavez as a drama queen or covertly agreeing/laughing with his sentiments toward Bush. Either way it was interesting.

Hee, manual transmissions make me think of the many movie quotes involving stick shifts and matchbox cars.

I miss Drip's- I know the institution was messed up, but I honestly feel that the people that gathered there, and the memories and ideas that were shared there shaped part of who I am today. I was there during a very impressionable time in my adolescence, during my time of self identification, and I thank goodness that I spent more time there than at the Mall or keg parties. I think I turned out ok.

So, even though they all partly suck, who are you gunning for in the election coming up? I surprised myself by seriously gunning for Edwards the other day.

"Bush is El Diablo" was, seriously, like 5 seconds of Chavez's 20 min. UN speech last year, but it was all that CNN and the rest of the corporate media covered. The substance of his speech was how the US continues to seek imperial hegemony around the world, which was the subject of the book by the always brilliant Noam Chomsky that he was holding up during it ( ... )
