the time in the season where i shrug a lot and don't make excuses for my choices in gifts is fast approaching...and right now i am sitting the fence in what direction to make my mistakes in gift giving this year...i like to buy late and i like to buy odd, and i don't actually care if it makes you wonder why i bought it, cuz when i give a gift...

Books are a wonderful gift. A few years ago I found remaindered copies of Stephen Ambrose's Citizen Soldiers at my local dollar store. Every history buff on my gift lift got a copy and I bought a copy of D-Day (the book it follows) for a birthday gift for a friend that really enjoyed the first book.
