well everyone, it's been fun, but i'm pretty much done with public posts. if you want to be added to my friends list (you have to be an LJ member), make a comment on this post. this is mostly cos i don't want prospective employers to be able to google me and find out everything about my life, but also cos i'm going back to writing about the

So you don't have to friend me, no pressure, I mean, the entirety of our relationship constitutes three-and-a-half hours in a concert and a car. But you already have the ability to stalk me at my home, so I figure I might as well give you the ability to stalk me at my LJ as well, should you want to, you creepy stalker you. If you do so, be prepared for piles of unfathomable geekiness, long boring essays about what I do with my time, and a fair amount of profanity celebrating my Anglo-Saxon heritage.
But I just wanted to say... when my lame-o mclameface friends decided not to go to the Stars concert and I decided to go on my own anyway (something I've never actually done before), I was really hoping that the result would be that I would meet an awesome friendly concert stranger and have an awesome friendly concert time with them. And I did. So thanks for that. ^_^

Was that seriously your first-ever concert by yourself? That's weird. I've been to dozens of shows alone. Actually talking to cool people and hanging out with them is a pretty hit-or-miss thing, so I'm glad we had fun together.
Secretly (read: not remotely secretly), I'm hardly ever on LJ anymore. Maybe I was burned out after all the time I put in during my 2008 travels; maybe I got weirded out after my last girlfriend went back and read every entry I'd ever made; maybe I just got sick of writing about my own bullshit...I don't really know.
What's your name mean?
I'd write more, but it's super fucking late and I can't think at all right now.

Yep, yeah, that was my first solo concert. I dunno, my friends and I all listen to the same music, so usually there's at least one friend who desperately wants to go to the same concert as me. I go to movies by myself a lot, but that's a bit different.
My user name, oh god... speaking of unfathomable geekiness, with an extra large helping of Embarrassing Teenage Shenanigans. I've been using that handle since I was fifteen. Zolac (the God-King of Hostilistan) is my own personal deity, a character I invented/stole from Outside magazine. I am, of course, Zolac's High Priestess. And, around the time Zolac was created, I was also just getting into anime... so "Zolac no Miko" is, in Japanese, "Priestess of Zolac." I started using it as my internet identity (on Fanfiction.net, ffffff), and never really stopped, mostly because it's unique... I guarantee you there are no ( ... )
