...it is not normal to have vertigo during the start of your period so bad you might vomit or do other unpleasant things. It's not normal to be shaking and tremoring so badly when you get up to move around or even when you lie down for a bit. None of this is normal. I never used to have problems with my period until about a month after I started dating Jason... then the same type of thing started happening to me. (No, I don't blame Jason for any of this, but it gives a rough estimate of a timeline.) I would literally lay on the floor in the bathroom, and when I finally fell asleep, I guess I would flop uncontrollably like a fish or something. After a couple months, it started to get better, and eventually, the worst that happens to me is cramping, and once in a while nausea (that can usually be fought off). Hope you feel better!

Pretty much the same... It started when I was 15-16 and would be kinda sporadic... then stopped when I was in Maryland tho I still got wiped out and nauseous, it wasn't this kind of vertigo... and I come back and it starts up again... I just... don't get it.

Hm. Could it be diet? Maybe dehydration... because you're not drinking as much because you aren't as physically active every single day when you're at home and in school? Have you been to a doctor? A gyno?

*chuckles* Thank you 20 questions ;) I haven't had the whole gyno thing. Tomorrow I get blood drawn and they'll check for prolactin issues (some breast related hormone) and I plan to speak to my doctor about birth control pills for this and other issues... Stupid body... behave yourself! Why can't you be like other female bodies???
