I always find it interesting when people come up with creative responses inspired by the literature of other authors. I like the continuation of the theme of choice here. I think sometimes that we do choose to be the enemies of others. Perhaps we were once friends and simply don't bother fixing the problem. Sometimes we are so afraid of what others will say if we're friends with a certain person that we avoid even talking to them.
I particularly like the imagery of stanza two. Its interesting how many poets attribute a sense of positivity to the colour blue. While black has always been indicative of negativity and red has meant passion, the connotations of blue have been more difficult to pin down. The way the image of the death of wrath is described here is interesting. Normally one wouldn't associate blue with death but as it is the death is something negative I think the image has been twisted quite cleverly.
