what happened today in New York was no accident. I can almost guaren-goddamn-tee it. They want us not to worry, so they filibuster as best they can. Well they can't slip one past old Pete, nosiree. I have to admit that, well honsestly, I've been shirking my responsibilities as so-called leader of this here group. Well that's not happening anymore!

Pete, I wasn't in New York yesterday, and I didn't realize you were.
I was working on my latest pamphlet "Symmetry and Prose" yesterday, when I learned of the news. It reminded me of our first trip to Pompay.
But now's not the time for that story, we've got a lot of work to do. Go pick up that son of yours and meet me at your cabin.
