Personally, I found it way easier to eat healthy on graveyard shift than days. No one is bringing in junk food to hand out, or inviting you out for lunch/breakfast/coffee.

Around here, they just leave it around for us, or bring it by first thing in the morning. It's damn near inescapable.

It is a bit far for a day trip, yes. That's why I'm staying a whole week!

The promotion may make it easier to get time off aqnd travel - provided I don't mind bringing my laptop with.

my dad did research on the effects of shiftwork on people's health. the results were quite terrifying. diet, blood pressure, blood sugar, cardiac health, mood disorders, smoking addictions all got worse. glad you are back on days.
