That's all you saw that you liked, eh? :)

I love that movie. It's the beginning of so much! In fact, I just got the anniversary edition. But I maintain that she should have chosen Rick. He loved her and she loved him...the other guy just needed her. She would have been happier with the man who loved HER rather than what she represented to him. Stupid woman.

And...much like the quotes in the movie that are now repeated so frequently, I've said all this before! Countless times in fact! Ah, the knee-jerk movie rant...will you ever fade away?

I have one for Casablanca, one for Serenity, one for the Taming of the Shrew...hmm...I know there are more...

Casablanca is still one of my favourite films. I love the artificiality of the dialogue; there's not one wasted word in the entire film. I love the scope and sweep of the story, the scenes are truly memorable (I was going to list some, but there are too many), and above all it is a love story with hard choices for all concerned. Yum!
