I redeemed myself today

I just finished my Politics of Economic Policy exam. I really think I passed and for the first time this year, I feel, did not embarass myself academically. Somehow, I managed to pull together all the information I have been churning through and get it out. It may not be polished, but it is there ( Read more... )

Ow. They don't really teach "supply side economics" as for real do they?

Well, we really only went over it in relation to rational choice theory and something to do with whether economic policies are made according to interest group and constituent pressure or whether they are made according to politicians doing what they believe to be right for the economy. Something along those lines. I'm still a bit fuzzy, but think I managed to wing my way through it since it was a short answer. The rest I did pretty well on, especially the question over nationalizing the interest in relation to the 1846 repeal of the British Corn Laws. I actually knew what I was talking about and didn't have enough time to say everything that I wanted to.
