Around December, I gave up drinking.  I had gotten so drunk, and hung over that I found alcohol repulsive.  I couldn't even stomach the idea of alcohol.  Also, other circumstances like my mom's being an alcoholic, and my brother's legal problems with his DUI had just turned me off even more to drinking.

I know the feeling, the craving to be under the influence of something. It's my opinion that it's alright as long as it doesn't become a daily habit. It depresses me when I hear about people getting drunk or high every day.
