Excellent job as usual. I especially like the Sam tattoo and Sam wall ones. So much detail in such a small space, creepy and beautiful at the same time. The Dr. Who is awesome. The sketchbook turned out really well. The flourishes around the title bit are lovely.
Glad you enjoyed the sketchbook. The Art Nouveau art took me ages that's why I was relieved when I realized it wasn't lost in the mail. It took about 1 month for the sketchbook to travel from France to California. I love adding details, tons of details. The more the better :D I must admit that it's very relaxing to draw. It's like playing crosswords, in a way :) Thanks a lot for your great feedback about my Christmas cards! Happy New Year to you ♥
Oh, you and those ballpoint pens -- WOW! You are positively magical and I will never say anything bad about ballpoints again. ;) They're all gorgeous, but your "Great Wall of Sam" is kind of a masterpiece. He's just so hypnotically -- even painfully -- beautiful. And quite possibly the best thing you've done so far. Brava, you.
So . . . the highlights on the sketchbook cover . . . surely not white pencil with all the ink? White ink? Paint marker? Magic? (And if you say "white-out," I'm just going to go off and cry.)
Thanks a lot for your great feedback about my Christmas cards! Happy New Year to you ♥
Drawing the Great Wall of Sam was a lot of fun! I love drawing these kind of complicated designs and adding details, tons of details. The more the better :D I must admit that it's very relaxing to draw. It's like playing crosswords, in a way :)
So . . . the highlights on the sketchbook cover . . .(And if you say "white-out," I'm just going to go off and cry.) *cough*...It's a mix between white poster paint and....white-out. *sorry*. White-out is the only thing that stays white, VERY white even when applied on a craft paper like this one. I start with a layer of poster paint, then a big layer of white-out :D
Oh god you're so amazing I wanna cry All the arts, even the TW one (sorry, I really don't like the show), the drawing is amazing! And Sams!!! And - OMFG - THE DOCTOR ONE!!!!! Ooooooh I've exploded from joy! Thanks you so much once again for your amazing card you sent me and for being so wonderful!
Don't worry, I am not a huge fan of TW either. I am TRYING to love it because everybody says it's SO awesome and that you have to past the first 10 episodes or something but it's hard to find it interesting. Maybe I should try again, I don't know :/ Oh the Doctor one! Do you know it was the first time I was drawing 11th? His lack of eyebrows are a bit baffling at first xD Thank YOU for your great card! I talked about it in another post! It was so beautiful and the boys looks so happy in it ^o^
