Cool I wanna read The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat. Yesterday my sociology teacher said he was reading it. Yesterday I also picked up The Ego and the Id and started reading it. I thought it was kinda boring but I only read the first chapter and it was just him recapping the concept of the unconscious and complaining about how he's already written about that extensively. So I'm sure the rest is better. Anyway, I thought those were pretty striking coincidences.
ive started reading the man who mistook his wife and its really funny, short, and easy to read stories. yea i couldnt decide which freud book to pick so i thought i would start with this one which seemed the most basic and i would move on later. (Great minds think alike)
Electric Kool Aid acid test - worst book ive ever read, but dont take my word, i usually only read science ficton and fantasy, and have fun with sigmund freud.
not even! she's lying. i am almost half way through it and i think it's good. just.. basicly about how acid isn't good enough and ...well find our for yourself. i think it's good, funny at parts, and totally the book someone in love with the 60s and 70s and/or drugs would like.
yay, i like books like that i like books in general, but even if i don't think im gonna like a book, if its an important piece of literature i try to read it anyways
yea, i wanted to pick one of his books because hes an important author of the whole counter-cultre movement which im researching, and this is his most famous i used to love science fiction/fantasy books, especially ones with dragons and etc
