I think I'm going to stop watching The Vampire Diaries. Why continue after I've been given everything I've ever wanted? That episode read like a sweet, beautiful, steamy love letter addressed to me. It was spritzed with Alaric's cheap cologne and tied with a lock of Damon's mullet hair.

( I want this to be my TVD save-point please. Before my heart is inevitably ripped out. SPOILERS BELOW. )

Hello! So ljsever_neutral quoted your "everything is incest and nothing hurts," and I figured, anyone who believes that must be awesome, so I came over here and read ALL OF THIS. AND THEN CHEERED. So many feelings, and I can't cope.

They act like twelve-year-olds with crushes, the best two-man Scooby Gang ever, and forever friends with sexual tension all at once.

Why I love them so very much. They're so ridiculous and childish with each other one moment and then they're all understanding and soul-seeing the next. THESE TWO.

And we all agree Rebekah is the most wonderful, right?

I've pretty much spent the last twelve hours shouting my absurd love for Rebekah from the (internet) rooftops. She is pure perfection.

OMG DEFAN THEY RULE MY HEART. They are all I want from this show. These brothers, just...asdfghjkl;//

I READ ALL OF IT. I'm a little late on the uptake, but I read every word because you speak the TRUUUTH.

Oh in a sad, twisted, Damonish way he really did kill Lexi to protect Stefan, didn't he? He looks at this whole set-up and he's thinking, 'This is nonsense.'

All of this, yes. Honestly, it's sobering to realize it. Makes me want to go back and watch all the Lexi eps again and really LOOK at Damon in them. Because, yeah. Damon just wanted to protect his brother. (And be a asshole, but whatev.)
