I used to canvass for Clean Water Action, and when I was in one neighborhood, there was a house with a HUGE white picket fence that you couldn't see over, and what seemed like a massive security system. The next door neighbor said, "Don't bother, they're Aryan Nation jerks." And there were a lot of very overt racists living in Tacony when I was there (I doubt they've moved out).

PA has the largest pop of Klansmen of any state in the country per capita. I always felt very weirded out by that...

I did know that, but I think most of them live in central PA corn country. Unfortunately, not all of them.
