Well it seems that something is finally happening with this project and I'm glad to see it at last. Looks like they are actually actively looking to cast it. James would be perfect for this role and I for one want to see him get the part as he has made it clear he'd love to do it. With that in mind I am now going to promote the hell out of the idea

Okay, I put it up on the community, shamelessly pretty much word for word. ^_^

We had one person ask if one of Sueworld's manip of James as Dresden could be used as a postcard, but then there were worries over copyright infringment, so I'm bringing this to you. Would it backfire on her if she consented to convert her manip for a postcard? I'm not saying she will, I'm just looking into this.

Hey Janice thanks for putting the stuff up on your journal. We need all the word of mouth that we can get.

I have a manip of James as Dresden that I did for a WP and I turned it into a postcard. It's on the dresden page at MM that I linked to. It's one I did from the cover of one of the DF books. I'm not too worried about the copyright issue myself. If they get upset and ask that it be removed then I'll take it down but I doubt there going to sue me over it. Afterall it's not being used to make a profit or anything.

It's up to Sueworld though whether she wants to put one up or not. Each person needs to make that determination for themselves. Anything we use that has a picture of the book cover art or of James (as in promo shots or scans from mags etc.) will have copyright issues attached to them. About the only thing that won't are photos taken by the fans that are making the postcards.
