If I were to quote every line--both dialogue and narration--that I loved, I'd pretty much be quoting the whole thing. This was really, really strong and beautiful writing. But the ending, the ending is going to stick with me:
She throws her phone into the fountain. A boy nearby says it is a shame, it looked expensive.
"I love your work," he says.
Nobody has known who she is in ages. It makes her want to laugh, almost.
"Thank you."
SO GOOD. Going to read everything you've written, be back never, I hope.
