I've been wondering how it'd be if the (extreme) right wing should win in Belgium, but on the other hand, since we're several linguistical communities, even if the only strong one (the flemish) should win, they're still too stupid to come up with any legal decision. They make a lot of noise, but since most of what they do is barely legal, they get triald and loose a bit more of their power each time, hu hu hu!
But I've had that "feeling of jumping" before... Like when I was in Land's End. Strange, especially when I love life so much. Must like you said: the fear of death enhancing life.
Compared to some right-wing parties, the swedish right wing alliance isn't that bad. I just heard that the extreme right got twelwe seats in the municipal council of Landskrona and five seats in Malmö. I'm happy they didn't reach the seats in the parliament!
To be able to win, the right-wing had to take some steps to the left - well, at least pretend - but I feel that things can happen, that the right wing wind may blow harder in the future and I'm much afraid of that coldest blow.
