So... next week I'm moving. So it seems. I began packing my china in big boxes. Well, not that I have a lot of china, but it sounds better than "one small and one rather grand". Yesterday we went to my mother's uncle's place. We got lots of good food and strawberries in all shapes and manners. My great-uncle talked about genealogy with me. He speaks with a lot more accent than anyone in my family and he also swears a great deal - it's very rustic and homely.

I'm lucky. This friday, the internet connection in my house stopped working. Just then I thought I was unlucky - four hours later, a new batch of flats would be released and without internet, I wouldn't be able to do anything, even though I had gotten my admission papers. You're reading the livejournal of someone who could've had a fantastic flat together with a friend, but was deprived of this posibility by someone at the univerisity making a mistake. I'm a tiny bit disappointed. (Actually I went to weap and play the piano out of tune.)

I'm so frustrated! It's a long, winding story and I can't be bothered to explain right now. It's got to do with the university and flat hunting for the autumn. Basically: the university hasn't sent me the code I need to book a student's flat, but there is some 100 flats and rooms at the univeristy homepage, that people with codes can book. Grrrrr. I am obsessed with genealogy. It is so thrilling. It really is. It's history, so it's really really interesting, but it's better and deeper. It's so alive - despite the fact that all the people is quite... totally dead. It is amazing and breathtaking to find the names of ancestors.
