So I have this MP3 player. It was an expensive piece of gadgetry, but damn, if it isn't the handsomest MP3 player on the block -- forget those sanitized white iPods. My Philips has a glossy black finish, stainless steel trim, and silver navigation buttons tucked discreetly against the side and textured for easy location in the dark. New update on the My MP3 is Mark Prior theory: yesterday, while it was cold outside, I tried to listen to my mp3, but the battery was so frozen that it refused to start. After being carried in a breast-pocket for an hour, though, the battery decided to start working.

Clearly, some just needs to start carrying Prior around in the breast pocket of their peacoat.

Anyways, yes, not that you wanted to know about my continued mp3 player troubles, but I did read about what Stone said. Asshole. Other BP people started immediately arguing about whether his record bore up to Stone or whatever, but yeah, my reaction was UGH UGH UGH COMPLETE AND UTTER FUCKWIT.

Do many Cubs fans feel Stone-like about K-dog?

About Steve Stone and your boyfriend: I don't know a single Cub fan anywhere that feels the way Steve Stone does about him. Steve Stone was just being a raging asshole -- I have trouble believing that even Steve Stone feels that way about him. I think he just likes stirring up shit. However, while among the non-internet-attached, non-stathead fans, there are many who are as fed up with Steve Stone as I am, on the whole, that's a minority opinion, too.
