Hey. There are upsides to being a Tigers fan -- you have an ownership that's willing to spend money, a division that might be vulnerable to some toppling, a decent lineup, and Jeremy Bonderman, who, hey, maybe has posted less-than-stellar ERA this past season and a half but will be all of 22 next year.

true. . . but it's kinda sad that it took a near-record losing season to finally get ilitch to open up his wallet. ;p
a division that might be vulnerable to some toppling
i really think we might be in the weakest division in the AL. . . but as long as we make it in this year, i don't care if the yankees bitchslap us 4 straight, 35-0. . . as long as we get there. . . seventeen years is long enough a playoff drought for me. i'll take anything. :P

ah, yeah, you're definitely right about bondo. he's the one young guy that really excites me. he kind of figured it all out the second half of the season; am very excited about how he'll do next year.
