I work for a company that Nielsen bought like 10 years back. By the end of the summer my department will be successfull outsourced to Chennai, India. By February 09 so will the rest of the company.

I'm not saying this to make it seem like it's going to happen to you or anything like that, but seriously, fuck Nielsen.

God you know a crap-ton about all this. are you affected by habib at all or just well-informed? my theory on all this is that habib is just going to let that whole division silently go under and then sell all of our info/research/methods to our competitors and make a profit.
